Banking & Treasury Disclosures

Last updated July 6, 2026 · Canary Financial Inc ("Canary Financial")
Canary Financial is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services are provided by Canary Financial is a financial technology company, not a bank. Business banking is not available on Canary Financial today. We do not currently have a banking, payments, or deposit partner in place, no accounts have been opened, and we do not hold customer funds. If business banking launches in the future, we will name the payments provider and the FDIC-insured bank that would hold your funds before any account can be opened.

1. How your accounts work

Business checking and savings accounts are not yet available. Canary Financial does not currently hold, transfer, or have access to customer funds, and no account, routing or account number, or debit card has been issued to any customer. If and when deposit accounts launch, they will be provided by a licensed banking partner, and this page will be updated to describe exactly how those accounts, transfers, and cards work before anyone can open one. Canary Financial provides the technology and user experience; the partner bank holds your funds and provides the underlying banking services.

2. FDIC deposit insurance

Canary Financial does not currently hold customer funds and does not offer deposit accounts. Because no deposit relationship exists, no FDIC deposit insurance applies, and no customer funds are placed at any FDIC-insured institution. If deposit accounts are offered in the future, we will identify the insured depository institution here and describe the terms and limits of any pass-through deposit insurance before any account is opened. Where FDIC insurance applies, it protects only against the failure of the insured bank; it does not protect against the failure of Canary Financial or any non-bank party, and it does not cover losses from fraud or unauthorized transactions. Pass-through insurance depends on the funds being placed at an FDIC-insured institution and on satisfaction of FDIC "pass-through" requirements. FDIC insurance protects against the failure of the insured bank; it does not protect against the failure of Canary Financial, Stripe, or any non-bank party, and does not cover losses from fraud or unauthorized transactions.

3. No interest unless stated

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Treasury accounts (including those labeled "savings") do not pay interest or yield. If a yield program is offered in the future, it will be described separately and may be provided through the partner bank or another arrangement.

4. Verification, holds & limits

Opening and using an account requires identity and business verification (KYC/KYB), including beneficial-ownership collection. Business banking on Canary Financial is not yet available and no accounts can be opened at this time. If banking services are offered in the future, opening and using an account would require identity and business verification (KYC/KYB), including beneficial-ownership collection, and transfers and card transactions would be subject to limits, review, and holds set by the banking provider. The identity of that provider and the applicable terms will be disclosed before any account is opened.

5. Cards

Canary Financial does not currently offer debit cards, and no card program is live. If a card program is launched in the future, the issuing bank, the card network, and the applicable cardholder terms will be disclosed here and presented to you before any card can be requested.

6. Agreements that govern your account

Banking services are not live today, so no partner-bank deposit account agreement, Stripe Treasury / Connected Account terms, or card program terms currently apply to you. If and when these services launch, the governing agreements will be presented for your acceptance before any account is opened, and in the event of a conflict between this summary and those agreements, those agreements will control. In the event of a conflict between this summary and those agreements, those agreements control.
