Who provides the credit report and monitoring?
Credit report and monitoring are provided by our credit partner, not Canary Financial. Canary Financial lets you enroll and view your information inside your Canary account. Details are in section 13 of our Terms of Service.
Do I have to give Canary a password for another site?
No. You never share a username or password for another site with us. Your report is shown using secure, short-lived access tokens.
Why might I be asked identity questions?
If your identity cannot be confirmed automatically, you may be asked a few questions drawn from your credit file. This protects your report from being viewed by anyone else.
Can I stop sharing my report with Canary?
Yes. You can turn report sharing off at any time, and our access to your report ends immediately.
How much will it cost?
Pricing and terms will be shown clearly before you enroll. Nothing is charged by joining the notify list.
When will it be available?
