These terms govern participation in the Canary Financial Affiliate Program. By applying, you agree to them.
You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, and promote only through channels you disclosed and are authorized to use. We may approve or decline any application at our discretion, and approval creates an affiliate account on Canary Financial.
You earn a flat referral commission for each qualifying funding request you refer that is approved and funded through Canary Financial or its funding partners. Your current commission rates are shown in your affiliate dashboard and may be updated on a going-forward basis. A referral is attributed to you when it arrives through your embed form, widget, tracked link, or API using your affiliate code, within the applicable attribution window.
Referred deals appear in your dashboard as pending until the deal funds, at which point the commission is approved. Commissions may be reversed if a deal does not close, is duplicated, is later cancelled or charged back, or was generated in violation of these terms. Only approved and paid commissions represent amounts owed.
Approved commissions are paid using the payout method on file, on the schedule communicated to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of your payout details and for any taxes on amounts you receive.
Attribution relies on your affiliate code and our tracking. We determine attribution and commission eligibility in good faith using our records. Interfering with tracking, or attempting to claim credit for referrals you did not originate, is prohibited.
Either party may end participation at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account and withhold commissions for violations of these terms or for fraudulent, abusive, or non-compliant activity. Approved commissions properly earned before termination remain payable.
We may update these terms or the program (including commission rates and attribution rules) on a going-forward basis. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance.
You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of Canary Financial. Nothing here creates a joint venture. You have no authority to make representations on our behalf.
